I am 78 and I am trying to keep my teeth."

I had a very complicated procedure and Dr Smith told me exactly what he would do if it was his tooth. He does not rush, even though patients are in different rooms getting what Dr Smith calls the numbing marinating secret sauce He truly concentrates on you and nothing else. "My first root canal many years ago was done by Dr. Smith. The second one was done by another doctor. After that horrible experience, I have went to Dr. Smith for every root canal since and there have been a few over the years. As long as he is in business, I won't be going to anyone else for a root canal. Why take a chance when you know he does a great job and I've not had any great amount of pain afterwards. Everyone that I've come into contact with in his office has always been very nice. Thank you, Dr. Smith!"

"I’ve had three root canals with Dr. Smith, he is the best. Other ones I’ve had in the past out of state have been much more onerous . I do recommend spending the extra money on nitrous oxide, laughing gas. I did it this last time and I will always do it from now on. Staff is great, Dr. Smith is great!"

"YES THEY TAKE INSURANCE. Only our insurance is slower than molasses in January up North. I was worried about paying for it up front and they gave me some options that helped. We all know about affirm even in this day and age. That aside, I have spent 52 years afraid of the dentist. Dr. Smith brought it to my attention that what can you use at least 3 times a day and not give it maintenance? Changed my mind quickly. Both Dr.'s are amazing! They even gave me a blanket because I was cold. Come on! The staff is awesome, and they put up with my smart allek mouth. They are happy people. They are good at their job, and I've had 2 root canals and everyone is amazed that when I came out, I didn't SOUND like I just had one. These have been the best dentist experiences in my life. Hardly any pain... Even gave me 2 ibuprofen to make sure we got ahead of the pain after. Can't thank them enough. They've done 34000 root canals and never felt any of them. Pretty good Doc. Pretty good. And as for the money? You pay for good care. You get it here. Highly recommended. Thank you again!"

"I came to see Dr. Wilder Smith after a negative experience with another dentist. I could not be more pleased!!! I was very nervous to have a root canal, since I've never had one before and had just come from a negative experience getting a crown with another dentist. Dr. Smith acknowledged my anxiety and was so kind and funny, cracking jokes throughout the whole procedure to keep me at ease. All of the other staff members were super calming and pleasant as well. I came in with pain and extreme sensitivity to even room temperature water. I left feeling amazing. They advised me to take an ibuprofen before the numbing wore off, but to tell the truth, I did not take an ibuprofen, and have not taken one since having the procedure. I left with no pain or sensitivity at all, just couldn't chew for a couple days but that's to be expected! I seriously cannot thank them enough. I was miserable for a month before seeing them and I finally feel like I'm back to my normal life."

"Endodontist ran behind, but it was fine. He apologized. I assume he fit in individuals that were scheduled Friday (weather alert day). He explained procedure, he kept my nerves numb and he showed me final results. Shots were also painless. He attempted to distract with jokes. Assistant gave me Ibuprofen. Never had any pain even two days out (now)."

The Doc came in with some dad jokes and kept it light. Very personable. The staff is great. The root canal never hurt. What ever the anesthesia is, I never felt them administer it and I was completely numb. He’s so fast and thorough It was over quick. Turns out I needed another root canal on a molar on the other side of my mouth. They fit me in and the second root canal was painless too. I have never had to have prescription pain medicine afterwards & all 3 times I went back to work. He is so gentle that I have never felt the shots to numb my mouth. I also have TMJ & I have not had any problems with TMJ after my root canals. He deserves more than 5 stars!!!?"
