I came in for a root canal yesterday. I dreaded the anticipated pain/discomfort. I told Dr Smith I was terrified of needles & the numbing process especially. He smiled and said I've got good news. I can do this WITHOUT ANESTHESIA! Looking at the xrays he said the roots were completely dead. I asked if he was kidding. No - he was serious. He's a specialist; been at this for over 35 years, and said it was up to me. I actually said go for it. He started the procedure, worked on 2 roots total, finished up, put the permanent repair on the crown he drilled through, and he was done in under an hour! No pain! No screaming! No panic! I couldn't believe I'd just had a root canal with NO anesthesia. And now, the day after, still no indication any procedure was even performed. Because there's no needed recovery from anesthesia.A completely positive experience! I wholeheartedly recommend Smith & Smith for any necessary dental work.Thank you!

Staff was professional and friendly. Dr. W. Smith was friendly spent time explaining the procedure and why it had to be done.He also told me what he was doing and what to expect as he was doing the procedure .I felt like a patient and not just another procedure needing to be done. Will recommend to family and friends. Great first experience considering it was a dental procedure.
